Since I can remember, I have loved science and music.  I have tried to strike a balance in my life in my pursuit of the frontier of both of those passions and found education to be the best way to keep those passions alive.  As a facilitator, I am always trying to help students find authentic ways to solve problems in order to find both pride and joy in the learning process.  In my 7 years teaching in Chicago, I was lucky enough to help some incredibly students and also experiment in my senior elective physics class to develop projects to help all students become engaged in what can be a challenging subject.  I am still experimenting but have found a home of educators with a similar insatiable need to experiment and tinker down in Chattanooga, TN at the STEM School!
