Javier Aguilar

I am in my sixth year of working at East Fort Worth Montessori Academy as a technology applications / computer science teacher for an elementary campus with Pre-K to 5th grade students. I continue to strive to have positive and meaningful lessons in computer science education to better equip my students for the future.

I actively participate in EDCAMPS to share and network with other educators in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  I believe it is important to be a continual learner in the field of technology and computer science due to the demand in the marketplace.  As a facilitator for coding, gamification, robotics and digital portfolios – I use CodeMonkey, Code.org, Google CS-First, Bitsbox, Osmo, Seesaw, LEGO Mindstorms and MinecraftEdu consistently.
