Lesson Materials

The Instructions

Discuss Basic electronic Concepts with students.

Refer attached documents

Discuss with students about good conductor & Bad Conductor, Resistors. Ask them how electricity, heat flows. give them various examples.

Tell them all this concepts in very simple way you can refer ppt attached.

Ask students what we can made from all this components. Let them imagine.

After that ask them can we make game which is useful in our studies .

Lets make interesting Quiz board.

Make design for Quiz board.

Make design in 2D Inkscape software.

Introduce them with Inkscape software.Ask students to take actual measurements for their board let them draw it on paper and same will be replicated in 2D design software

Cut the Design Files in Laser cutter.

Introduce laser cutter

Introduce students to machine software and ask them to observe machine mechanism. Discuss machine functioning with students and introduce them with machine parts

Make connections of LED & Battery.

Positive terminal of Battery to Positive terminal of LED - Negative terminal of Battery to Questions - Negative terminal of LED to Answers +ve Battery +ve LED -ve Battery Questions -ve LED Answers

Make Connectivity in Question & Answer Side.

Make connectivity in between Question & answer by using wires & nut bolt by back side.

teacher note- Help students to make Connections. Refer attached ppt named as reference connection before doing connections.

Assemble all the connections.

Assemble LED & battery on laser cot board.

Now Insert the Question & Answer paper sheet in design parts.

You can make question answer sheet of any subject.

Test the Quiz Board.

If our answer is correct then only LED Blink. If it not happen then check the connections.

Standards

  • (Fab-Safety.1): I can safely conduct myself in a Fab Lab and observe operations under instructor guidance.
  • (Fab-Electronics.1): I can follow instructions to build a simple electrical circuit using conductive material, basic components, and power.
  • (Fab-Modeling.1): I can arrange and manipulate simple geometric elements, 2D shapes, and 3D solids using a variety of technologies.
  • (Fab-Fabrication.1): I can follow instructor guided steps that link a software to a machine to produce a simple physical artifact.
  • (Fab-Design.1): I can be responsible for various activities throughout a design process within a group under instructor guidance.
  • (6.G.A1): Find the area of right triangles, other triangles, special quadrilaterals, and polygons by composing into rectangles or decomposing into triangles and other shapes; apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.
