Brandi Dixon

Brandi Dixon is the Education Program Manager for the Hardesty Center for Fab Lab Tulsa, a charitable organization located in the Kendall-Whittier neighborhood of Tulsa, Oklahoma, which began as an outreach program from MIT’s Center for Bits and Atoms and has grown into a global network providing widespread community access to modern digital fabrication equipment, tools and resources.  Ms. Dixon researches, directs and designs the curricula, education materials and teaching processes of the organizations STEM education programs, which serve 4,500 students annually across Northeastern Oklahoma. In addition, she trains teachers in the development and implementation of STEM based curricula. Previously, Ms. Dixon was a Senior Corps Member with City Year Tulsa, an AmeriCorps program serving youth in high-poverty areas, and she holds a degree in graphic design.
