Debbie Wells

I am a library media specialist at a Title 1 elementary school in Missouri. We serve 450 students in grade Kindergarten through 5th grade; all of which visit my library class each week. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in STEAM Education. I am passionate about teaching STEAM disciplines and giving my students opportunities to explore, design, and create. I am equally passionate about promoting the love of reading. I work to marry the two ideals (Literature and STEAM) through interactive and collaborative lessons in the library.
