The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) is a statewide nonprofit organization that offers innovative, hands-on programs which create an education-to-employment pipeline by inspiring and preparing K-12 students to pursue higher education and careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. TAME programs are inclusive, but are focused on engaging students from underrepresented groups in STEM fields, including minorities, women, those who are economically disadvantaged, and are the first in their family to consider higher education and STEM careers.
