I grew up in Bradenton, Florida, close to the Gulf Coast beaches. My family moved to Soddy Daisy in 2005, and I am still fascinated by the season changes. Since 1995, I have taught everything from 6th to 12th grade English, including Journalism I-IV, but 9th grade has always been my favorite! When I’m not at school, I love to read, watch movies, and go hiking with my husband and our three children.
