Congratulations Fellows!
The Chevron FAB STEM Fellowship welcomes educators passionate about teaching digital fabrication and STEM skills in K-12 settings, whether in schools, Fab Labs, makerspaces, museums, after-school programs, or NGOs. Applicants must demonstrate impactful, innovative, equitable, and inclusive approaches to STEM and digital fabrication education by submitting a lesson plan, program, or teaching practice that reflects their commitment to fostering meaningful learning experiences.
This year, more than 70 educators applied for the Fellowship, with interest coming from all around the world. In addition to the recipients of the top award, the following applicants received honorable mention:
Kareem Edouard – Creating identity-affirming STEAM spaces for Black youth in the U.S.
Khushbu – Designing playful, screen-free tools that spark curiosity in informal learning spaces.
Entrusted with the formidable task of selecting just three winners from an exceptionally talented pool of international applicants, a distinguished panel of seven experts in digital fabrication, education, and STEM outreach undertook this challenge. We extend our deepest gratitude to these individuals for their invaluable time, expertise, and meaningful contributions to the program.
