Online lesson plan, Introduces the Islamic culture and how Muslims uses the technology to worship “Allah” God.
The workshop will address one of the used methods in asking forgiveness and how technology helped in this way to count the sayings.
In the session, we will address electronic sketches and how to build a circuit from scratch and then to code it.
This track consists of 5 days:
1.Wearable Technology
2.Microcontrollers
3.Sensors
4.Input & Output
5.Project
In this day we will introduce the participant to the Islam as an Ibrahimic religion and how Muslims worships "Allah" Also, we will have a brief regarding the similarities between the religions in the view of using the same stuff as Rosaries.
1- We will start by introducing the participant to the Subhah as a string of Muslim prayer beads whose units (100,33, and 25).
2- Then we will introduce the participant to the similarities of using the same tool in different religion.
3- Then we will ask the participant about the Islam and what they know about it.
4- Then we will introduce the participant to the Islam.
5- Then we will mention the Muslim Beliefs.
As Muslims beliefs in (one god, angels, in all prophets, all previous scriptures, afterlife, and in God divine will and decree.
6- Then we will present a video to them about Islam.
7- Then we will ask the participant about how we can worship God.
In this step we will introduce the participant to what we will be doing today.
1- We will start by showing the participant what we will be doing today, as we are going to use Tinker-Cad Platform to design a circuit that able to count from 0 to 999.
And we will be doing this in steps starting from 0 to 9 Then from 0 to 99 Then from 0 To 999.
2- Then we will discuss with the participant the need for wearable devices and what is wearable technologies.
3- Then we will get a brief about the Flex circuit and its uses in the wearable device and how we can benefit from them.
4- Then we will show the participant how to use Tinker-Cad Platform.
In this day participant will be introduced to the basic circuitry and electronics, in order to get the knowledge of how microcontroller works and how to have it in any circuit and its role.
1- We will start by asking the participant about what they know about the Electricity?
2- Then we will discuss the basics of electricity with them.
3- Then we will explain to them what a circuit is and how they are being built.
4- Then we will discuss the electricity generation with the participant in order to distinguish between the different types.
5- Then we will show them a video that describes the circuit and how it works.
6- Then we will ask the participant about the clean energy and what they know about?
In this section we will show the participant what we are going to build on Tinker-Cad platform and the modules we are going to use with a brief about each one of them.
1- We will start by showing the participant what we are going to build.
2- Then we will show the participant the modules we need to build our circuit.
3- Then we will discuss the microcontroller with the participant and how it works.
5- Then we will show the types of the seven-segment display and its Pinout.
6- Then we will show them an example of a working product.
7- Then we will practice building the circuit on Tinker-Cad.
In this section, we will build the circuit we need to make a 0-9 counter.
1- We will start by opening Tinker-Cad Platform and create a new circuit draft.
2- Then we will add the component, and we will arrange them on the breadboard.
3- Then we will start connecting the circuit starting from the input with the microcontroller and then connecting the 7-Segment display with the decoder.
4- then we have to make sure that the 7-Segment display type is chosen to be common cathode.
5- Then we will add the code to the circuit and run it.
In this day we will complete what we started in the previous day, and we introduce the participant to the sensors and how they work in order to understand the uses of the sensors.
1- We will start by asking the participant about how computers do interact.
2- Then we will discuss briefly what is sensors.
3- Then we will show the participant how do sensors works and how they are being stimulated.
4- Then we will discuss the uses of sensors with the participant in order to know the fields they have a role in.
6- Then we will ask the participant about their thoughts about sensors and how they are making our life easier.
In this day we will show the participant how the code are built and the mathematics behind the function of counting also, we will show thee participant what is meant by binary and how to convert between decimal and binary system.
1- We will show the participant the module we are going to add to the circuit and how it’s going to affect the function we previously had, as we are going to add a push-button to count when the button is pressed instead of automatic counting.
2- Then we will discuss coding with the participant to briefly describe the functions used to build the code of our circuit.
3- Then we will explain the binary system to the participant and how to convert from decimal to binary and vice versa.
In this section, we will show the participant how we will add the push-button and how we will change the code in accordance with it.
1- We will start by adding the push button to the circuit.
2- Then we will connect the push-button to the microcontroller.
3- We have to make sure that the push-button is high activating when it’s been pressed.
4- Then we will discuss the code with the participant and go through it function by function.
In this day, participant are going to be introduced to the Input & Output process and how to modify the circuit to make it count from 0 to 99.
1- We will start by asking the participant about the input and output process (IPO) and how it works.
2- Then we will discuss the Input devices briefly.
3- Then we will be discussing the output devices.
4- Then we will present a video to the participant shows the input and output devices to introduce the participant to the input and output process in more details.
5- Then we will ask the participant about the IPO cycle of our project?
In this step, we will show the participant how to modify the circuit to make it count from 0 to 99.
1- We will start showing the final look for the circuit in order to build it.
2- Then we will show the participant the needed module to have.
3- Then we will open Tinker-Cad Platform and give the participant the needed time to build their circuit from scratch, or they can modify on it.
4- The circuit will look the same as the last one, we will just add another decoder and 7-segment display to increase the counting range.
5- We will be passing the code for the participant.
In this day we will discuss briefly about what is projects and how to start to transfer the idea into a structure to assure having a working prototype.
1- We will start by asking the participant about the first step on building any project?
2- Then we will briefly describe what is meant by a project.
3- Then we will list the basics of starting a project from the Idea till we go to production.
4- Then we will show them a video that describes and discuss the Project management domain.
In this section we will ask the participant to list down all the needed steps to build the counter (999) from scratch, and then they have to simulate it and code it on Tinker-Cad Platform.
1- We will start by showing the participant the final look for the prototype.
2- Then we will help them by showing the needed parts to build the products.
3- Then we will give the participant the needed time to start building their prototype.
4- We will help the participant here to build their project and code it
